Napoleon was born in 1769. He died in 1812.
A lot of people think he died because while his army was fighting Russians, they got weaker and weaker, and they had to do a lot of forced marches. It tired out a lot of men and they didn’t even see a single soldier. The Russians left a lot of traps for the soldiers and any kind of shelter was destroyed. Napoleon’s soldiers died from cold and famine and the rest got weakened. After the march, the Russians suddenly attacked and Napoleon was defeated. Some people think he died of disease, some people believe he retired to an island or went home, and others say he was captured by the Russians and was taken captive.
